Bedrooms and Occupants is a photographic and sociological project, exploring expression, personality, and what a room means to someone. I look at the role that the bedroom plays, the possessions that a person keeps in their bedroom, what a bedroom means to someone, how much time they spend in their room, and what they do in their bedroom. 

This is an ongoing project, exploring how a persons bedroom reflects themselves. I began this project in my 2nd year at Edinburgh College of Art, the first group of people I photographed and interviewed were my peers. This first part explores the novelty of having your first flat, and the aspects of personality that people bring into their bedroom. This project was also very formative in me understanding how I like to photograph.
